What You Would Get To Do
The Platform Implementation Manager is responsible for the strategic integration and governance of a highly customised instance of the Momentus SaaS platform across the client's global event ecosystem. This role serves as the primary technical and operational liaison between FIRST, Client, and Momentus (SaaS Vendor).
The Platform Implementation Manager functions as a platform steward and bespoke software configuration authority, ensuring that diverse service-line workflows are successfully standardised into a scalable global framework, while maintaining operational viability at the local level. The role combines enterprise systems implementation, program leadership, change management, and multi-vendor orchestration, with accountability for platform integrity, data governance, and global adoption. The position requires a highly adaptable communication style to serve the needs of all parties, acting as both an objective subject-matter expert and a project manager who builds trust easily and quickly.
Your Contributions
Global Implementation and Project Leadership
- Serve as the primary project management lead for Momentus implementations in the assigned location, acting as the bridge between global standards set by client stakeholders and local operational needs.
- Establish professional credibility by proactively engaging with local teams to audit site-specific requirements while maintaining transparency about system constraints.
- Effectively lead multiple projects concurrently, while navigating various stakeholder groups per project. Support project sponsors and owners using an established project framework to define objectives, scope, timelines, budget/internal equity considerations, governance structures, and RACI matrices.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and integration efforts are clearly defined and sequenced. Ensure projects remain on schedule by proactively monitoring progress, adjusting timelines as needed, identifying impacted dependencies, and communicating regularly with all stakeholder groups.
- Prepare, present, and distribute project status reports on an agreed cadence. Maintain consistent stakeholder communications regarding milestones, risks, integration efforts, resource considerations, and overall program health.
- Effectively facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, prioritisation of discussion points, documentation of key decisions, tracking of action items, and monitoring follow-through to closure.
Platform and Technical Expertise
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the client’s custom-configured Momentus instance. Serve as the first-level technical authority on system logic and stewardship to determine if new site-specific requirements can be met by existing configurations.
- Partner with Momentus SaaS experts and service line stakeholders to design, test, and implement new custom configurations when existing global workflows require evolution.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and conduct UAT testing for SaaS API initiated on behalf of the client, ensuring alignment with defined business requirements and technical specifications.
- When appropriate, provide subject-matter expertise on best practices, drawing on lessons learned from previous implementations to strengthen solution design, governance models, and rollout strategy, process and workflow standardization.
- Assess unique operational workflows of each service line per site to identify friction points and facilitate the transition from localized manual processes to standardized, SaaS-supported operations.
- Lead operational negotiations when site-specific workflows conflict with global standards. Facilitate high-stakes conversations between local site leadership and the client Project Sponsor to create new scalable, global workflows.
- Drive execution across complex multi-vendor governance structures, aligning cross-functional teams and third-party partners to deliver project milestones without direct reporting authority. Ensure integration efforts across service lines are coordinated and dependencies are actively managed.
Governance, Documentation, and Enablement
- Develop and maintain “LaunchPaks,” communications, training materials, and governance documentation per site. Ensure that site-specific adaptations and global configuration changes are documented thoroughly to support long-term sustainability and institutional knowledge retention.
- Provide in-person training support for all service lines during launch. Facilitate post-launch reviews to stabilize workflows, troubleshoot SaaS concerns, capture lessons learned, and incorporate continuous improvement into future implementations.
- Maintain project documentation, including scope documents, risk logs, decision registers, change tracking, status reports, and implementation roadmaps, to ensure transparency and auditability across the global program.
Understanding the Role
- The role exists to support a time-bound client rollout (to Dec 2027).
- This role is tied to a large-scale transformation programme.
- There is a high likelihood the role will run for the full contract duration
- There is potential for extension if the programme scope expands
- There is no guaranteed continuation beyond the FTC
- The contract is expected to run through 31 December 2027. However:

- The FTC includes standard early termination provisions that allow either party to terminate the contract under specific circumstances (e.g., changes in business requirements).
Working pattern and flexibility
- The role supports EMEA and APAC regions, including France, India, Australia, and other countries within these regions.
- The role requires flexibility across time zones.
- Typical working pattern:
- Standard working week of 40 hours (9am–6pm UK time), excluding a 60-minute unpaid lunch break
- Occasional requirement for later working hours (approximately 10% of the time), e.g. 10am–7pm, to support APAC and other regions
- All working time regulations will be adhered to, including statutory rest periods
