The FIRST Sustainability and Social Impact Statement our Responsible Business Commitments are driven by a dedicated team operating under the name of Paramount whose mission is to support a People centric, Purpose driven and Planet conscious culture.
The Paramount Steering Group, comprising senior executives and the Paramount team are responsible for ensuring the timely dissemination of information to the Board and the effective execution of strategic and operational initiatives. The Paramount Champions, including representatives of FIRST business units and departments, are driving the operational delivery of our Sustainable and Social Impact strategy.

Our goal is to continuously innovate and educate, creating tangible positive change that contributes to a more sustainable events industry. We do this by upholding the core operating principles of legality, efficiency, ethics, transparency, and accountability.
Our Purpose Driven goal: Uphold the highest standards of governance and ethics by embedding transparency and accountability into our core operations. Since 2024, we’ve committed to voluntary extra-financial reporting and fostering fair, ethical frameworks for all stakeholder collaborations.
Our People Centric goal: Cultivate an inclusive environment where diverse talents thrive through trust and belonging. We focus on implementing structured social impact initiatives, supporting employee well-being in high-performing settings, and engaging suppliers and clients to raise industry-wide responsible practices.
Our Planet Conscious goal: Reduce our negative environmental impacts by embedding sustainable considerations in our decision-making and practices into our operations. We focus on reaching Net Zero by 2050 and adopting a circular approach to the Events and Experiences we deliver.
To guide our progress, we use the B Corp standard framework to facilitate continuous improvement and ensure we effectively integrate the needs of our ecosystem: our clients, employees, partners, and the wider community.
Since 2021, this approach has shaped our sustainability objectives and reporting. This policy articulates our goal to create tangible positive change through five strategic commitments, each addressing a critical theme for our company and those we serve.

We voluntarily report on our extra financial impacts since 2024 and communicate about our progress.

We aim to reach Net Zero by 2050, with a first step to reduce our Scope 1&2 emissions by 45% by 2030.

By designing events that inspire positive change and advocating for a more sustainable events industry, because how we deliver matters as much as what we deliver.
Beyond delivering measurable sustainable impact for our clients, we are committed to elevating the industry through active participation in key strategic initiatives like NZCE (Net Zero Carbon Events).
