What You Would Get To Do
The Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, responsible for identifying organizational needs and architecting scalable solutions. This role manages the end-to-end requirements lifecycle—from elicitation and analysis to process design and solution validation. The Business Analyst ensures that all technical deliverables align with strategic goals by translating complex workflows into standardized documentation and providing the data-driven insights necessary for proactive operational decision-making.
Your Contributions
- Requirements Elicitation & Collaboration: Lead workshops, interviews, and document analysis to uncover business needs; manage stakeholder engagement to ensure a shared understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Process Architecture & Design: Design and document detailed "As-Is" and "To-Be" process models (BPMN) to identify inefficiencies and architect future-state workflows that drive organizational consistency.
- Technical Documentation: Author high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Stories, and Functional Specifications, ensuring all requirements are clear, concise, and traceable.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create and maintain comprehensive procedural manuals and governance documents to standardize how data is entered and how tasks are performed across the organization.
- Strategy & Gap Analysis: Perform root-cause analysis on operational failures and evaluate the current state against the desired future state to identify necessary changes in data, processes, or systems.
- Data Governance & Logic Definition: Define the business rules and data requirements necessary for proactive reporting; collaborate with technical teams to ensure dashboards and reports reflect accurate business logic.
- Solution Validation & UAT: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test cases, managing defect reporting, and ensuring the final solution meets all defined business criteria and evaluation standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between technical developers, external vendors, and business leadership to facilitate negotiation, prioritize backlogs, and resolve conflicting requirements.
- Transition & Knowledge Transfer: Develop training materials and "Handover Playbooks" to ensure a seamless transition of new systems and processes to permanent operational teams at project completion.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline business operations and enhance the maturity of business analysis practices within the company.
What We Are Looking For
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
- Data Literacy: Advanced ability to interpret data trends and statistical outputs to identify operational risks; ability to "read" a dashboard to extract the business narrative.
- Requirements Engineering: Expertise in eliciting requirements, documenting functional specifications, and managing the end-to-end UAT process.
- Process Modelling: Proficiency in workflow mapping and business process modelling (e.g., creating visual flowcharts for "As-Is" vs "To-Be" scenarios).
- Technical Translation: The ability to explain complex business needs to technical developers and, conversely, explain technical limitations to business stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence vendor performance and manage executive-level expectations.
- Data Governance: Understanding of data stewardship principles and the importance of clean data entry for downstream reporting.
- Communication: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with a focus on translating data into clear, concise business recommendations.
