What You Would Get To Do
The HR Systems Manager will play a key role within the IT organization, collaborating closely with the People & Culture (P&C) team to define and execute the strategy for core HR platforms (BambooHR, UKG, Greenhouse, Docebo). This role is responsible for the ongoing systems management, as well as contributing to the evaluation, selection and implementation of future HR technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong systems mindset and a passion for enhancing automation, efficiency, and reducing manual efforts across the business. This position also involves managing vendor relationships and coordinating with third-party consultants, serving as a critical link between IT and People & Culture.
The role also requires flexibility to occasionally work outside of traditional office hours, depending on demand and production requirements.
Your Contributions
Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and external consultants to manage delivery of services (e.g. feature updates, system support, etc.).
- Provide training across P&C teams to ensure understanding of how the systems work and how to use it efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with the Encore team responsible for HR Technology to ensure changes are communicated and tested.
- Collaborate with P&C to enhance processes and system controls, aiming to improve efficiency and overall operational effectiveness.
- Partner with IT Operations to automate and maintain user accounts and roles for HR systems.
- Evaluate and prioritize improvements and issue resolutions based on stakeholder feedback and overall business impact.
- Maintain API and/or low-code HRIS integrations across systems.
- Maintain a detailed log of all open items, including updates, reported bugs, fixes, and pending enhancements and proactively support the resolution and closure of outstanding issues by coordinating with relevant teams.
- Build and improve reports within the existing systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Work with Data + Insights and Data Governance to define data/metrics needed for P&C dashboards across systems.
Applicant Tracking & Learning Management Systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managing Applicant Tracking and Learning Management Systems, including vendor relationship management.
- Build new reports and enhance existing ones to support data-driven decision-making.
- Effectively monitor and maintain system license usage.
- Develop and maintain any API or low-code integration across all systems.
- Continuously work with P&C to improve the overall processes and controls to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Position requires more than 8-10 years of experience
- Knowledge of and experience with HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems and functionality (e.g., BambooHR, UKG, Greenhouse, Docebo)
- Experience with 1-2 implementations of an HRIS system (preferably UKG, Workday, SuccessFactors)
- Experience working with vendors and third-party technology partners
- Multiple (5+) years of relevant experience with HR systems in a global enterprise
- Configuration of design templates, development work and customization of HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems
- Strong initiative with an appetite to learn and develop
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to see jobs through to completion
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to successfully work under pressure and deliver change
- Ability to work both independently, and within a team, and a strong team player

United States Residents: The base pay for this position ranges from $116,000.00 - $135,000.00. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
