What You Would Get To Do
The Event Technology Coordinator is responsible for assisting the event technology team with registration websites, database management to ensure consistency of information, accurate data, inputting new data when required and generating lists upon request. This role may also need to provide support to the event delivery team needing assistance with event and meeting coordination.
There is a requirement for travel domestically or abroad for onsite support of events, when necessary.
Your Contributions
- Support the team with event registration websites, app builds and all technological aspects of our events
- Database management to ensure consistency of information, accurate data, inputting new data when required and generating lists upon request
- Creating and distributing online surveys, electronic invitations, and other registration-related communications
- Effectively communicate with clients; responding to all client queries within the agreed service level agreements
- Assist in contacting clients for relevant information pertaining to the event
- Coordination of name badges, tent cards, place cards, departure notices, email confirmations, agenda, signage etc. where appropriate
- Travel periodically to oversee attendee logistics and registration for offsite events.
- List manipulation to provide team members with relevant registration data, year-on-year statistics, and insight into varied elements and event analytics
What We Are Looking For

- 1+ year in Event Technology and Marketing, including internships in a related field and entry-level meeting planning coordination
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office – specifically with Excel skills required
- Experience with registration website platforms such as Cvent, Splash, Certain, Aventri, Eventbrite other registration website platforms is preferred
- Experience with virtual meeting and event platforms such as Intrado, GlobalMeet / TalkPoint, Zoom, Splash, Eventbrite, Aventri SpotMe, Concise Chime or other virtual meeting and event platforms is preferred
- General knowledge of HTML and CSS is beneficial, but not required
- Good oral and written communication skills
- The individual must be comfortable assisting clients over the phone in navigating registration websites
- Flexible and willing to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends) and travel when required to be on-site at events and/or troubleshoot remotely
- Highly motivated, able to work independently
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, patience and a winning attitude

- Requires ability to work other shifts and weekends and in excess of 40 hours/week, as necessary.
