JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Events Producer will have a proven background of working as a Producer within virtual / live events, production or communication environment and be confident managing the full process of interpreting client’s requirements from concept through to delivery. The candidate must have a strong background of creating engaging content and advising on the messaging for events. Candidates must have a good knowledge of technical production as well as having a strong understanding of technology and different communication platforms.
This position is an integral part of our Event Operations team and will be responsible for managing, supporting and/or executing various content-led events, from initial concept through execution and final reconciliation. It requires a highly driven, client led and creative individual with excellent project management experience, who’s looking to develop their career and work with numerous high-profile clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistently deliver exceptional service to our clients through excellent project management
- Responsible for leading and/or supporting the planning and execution of multiple key content and virtual led events for multiple clients
- Manage, prioritize and oversee events from creative concept and development through initial briefing to reconciliation including but not limited to budget management, site selection, hotel/venue management, registration management, transportation, food & beverage, décor, branding, staffing, show management, technical oversight, logistics planning, H&S, site selection, presentation development, working with the creative team on branding and graphic design, print collateral development and execution, interactive/experiential technology, scenic/set design, décor design, staffing
- Responsible for fiscal success of individual programs and assigned accounts including accurate and timely budgeting and reconciliation of events
- Negotiate and review supplier contracts and addendums for accuracy, ensuring thorough onboarding of suppliers following agency process
- Create, maximise and closely monitor opportunities for increasing value adds, savings, and cost efficiencies
- Support on-going department initiatives to ensure the delivery of service excellence, as required
- Manage and ensure SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) are monitored and achieved throughout the event planning process
- Build strong supplier relationships globally, seeking excellence in all areas of execution and communication
- Field questions and offer advice to team members to assist with creative problem solving
- Be knowledgeable and update the team on best practices, new suppliers, services, and venues
- Work with the wider Agency team to ensure adherence to standards of operations
- Be proactive with ideas and creative solutions
- Provide support for other team members as required
- Being a FIRST ambassador and culture advocate
ADMINISTRATION & GENERAL:
- Assume responsibility for own environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies & requirements
- Professional and approachable demeanour with both client and internal stakeholders
- Work intelligently and ensure management is aware of problems or issues which negatively affect productivity
- Build excellent relationship with team through positive communications
- Ensure knowledge is shared within the team to enable them to work smarter and more efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 8 - 10+ year’s event management experience, preferably in an agency environment
- Advanced project management skills, including budget creation, management, and reconciliation
- Advanced knowledge of digital and technical aspects of productions including but not limited to general sessions, awards shows, activations and/or experiential events
- Ability to delegate to project team members and assign clear roles and responsibilities
- Exceptional ability to establish relationships and maintain a positive rapport with clients, vendors and suppliers
- Proactive attitude, independent and inquisitive, with high attention to detail
- Organised approach, with concise and clear written and oral communication skills
- Good knowledge of logistical aspects of all event types
- Diplomatic, patient, and resourceful personality is imperative
- Comfortable working globally, with different cultures and currencies
- Calm and flexible approach to handling the pressure and stress of ever-changing demands
- Pre-empt and be able to modify plans as necessary
- Advanced negotiating, risk management and contracting skills
- Creative problem solver, resourceful, team player
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
