FIRST Wins Big at the 2023 Eventex Awards

FIRST was honored with a number of awards for our work on Sibos 2022, Shopify Unite 2022, and the Carlyle Global Investor Conference at the 2023 Eventex Awards.

These awards have become a staple within the events industry, and are a symbol of prestige amongst event companies and event professionals.

 

Sibos 2022

Sibos 2022 won gold for Best Thought Leadership Event, silver for Best Community Building & Engagement, and bronze for Best B2B Event! 

FIRST delivered the annual Sibos in-person, virtually and hybrid, delivering a celebration of the world’s premier financial services event for a 4-day international conference in Amsterdam. The event brought together over 10,000 attendees and saw 550+ speakers deliver over 250 hours of content on-stage, online, and on-demand! Sibos 2022 Amsterdam was the most sustainable in its history, surpassing all pre-event sustainability targets, including reducing waste per participant by 84% and the overall consumption of the event by 66%

Shopify Unite 2022

Shopify Unite 2022 was also recognized, winning bronze for Best Road Show. 

Unite is Shopify’s flagship roadshow event. Our team successfully delivered three, two-day events in three different countries for developers to network and learn about opportunities on Shopify. FIRST created an exciting event by sourcing beautiful venues, utilizing gamification, and evolving the Shopify Unite visual identity, we successfully created three engaging events that allowed developers to network while receiving industry-leading content.

Carlyle Global Investor Conference

Finally, Carlyle Global Investor Conference won silver for the People’s Choice Award – Marketing, Communications & Strategy. 

Carlyle entrusted FIRST with producing the 2022 Global Investor Conference at Center 415 in New York City. The annual conference brings together industry leaders, executives, and employees to learn about the future of Carlyle, current investment trends, and valuable insights. Traditionally hosted at hotel venues, FIRST was challenged with pivoting this strategy to create a fully branded and immersive event within a raw space.
