FIRST had an impressive showing at the 2023 Micebook Awards including winning for our work on The Neu Project!
The 2023 Micebook Awards was the largest Micebook Awards to date, recognizing events, agencies, and talent from across the globe! Hosted by Micebook, the annual awards have become a symbol of prestige amongst event professionals. This year was no different, with Micebook adding more categories to ensure that every corner of the industry had an opportunity to be highlighted.
At the awards show, our work on The Neu Project launch won gold for Best DEI Initiative!
Last year, FIRST partnered with Google to help launch The Neu Project at IMEX 2022 with an impactful video that amplified the stories and experiences of neurodiverse team members, inspiring new methods of inclusion, and inspiring a more neuroinclusive world. In producing the video, FIRST created an authentic and emotionally rich video that adhered to operational and design best practices for neurodivergent communities.
In other awards news, Shopify Unite 2022 was a finalist for Best Conference.
Shopify Unite is Shopify’s flagship roadshow event. Our team successfully delivered three, two-day events in three different countries for developers to come together, learn about opportunities on Shopify, and network with each other. With deep relationships and experience in the tech industry, FIRST understood Shopify’s target audience. By sourcing beautiful venues, utilizing gamification, and evolving the Shopify Unite visual identity, we successfully created engaging events that allowed developers to network while receiving industry-leading content.
Finally, FIRST was a finalist for Best Agency (40+ employees)
