Sam Sherman is Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement at FIRST. She is responsible for risk & compliance, procurement, and contracting. Sam has delivered global events for over 20 years for clients in fields as varied as technology, education, finance, non-profit, consumer goods, and politics. Sam joined FIRST in 2013 in client relations, and transitioned to a position as the manager of the Planning & Production team before moving into her current role. Sam has been a guest lecturer at Pace University, and most recently spoke at the BizBash Expo and COPE events in New York City on Event Security and on GDPR compliance at Event Tech in Las Vegas.
