Yahoo! Mail’s Out of Office Activation Named a Finalist for PRO Awards

The editors of Chief Marketer have announced this year’s PRO Awards finalists, the best brand activation and promotion marketing campaigns in the world. Yahoo! Mail’s Out of Office activation, produced by FIRST, is a finalist for the “Best Holiday or Seasonal-Themed Campaign” category this year. The activation took place prior to the winter holidays in the US and Lunar New Year in Asia.

Yahoo! wanted to remind people who work hard all year that Yahoo! Mail can help them escape from reality and have fun during the holidays. Yahoo! makes it easy for customers to enjoy what matters most in their worlds and to get more out of life. The #SoOutOfOffice experiential campaign showcased the new Out Of Office features and Yahoo! Mail’s extended capabilities. The activations gave consumers a chance to live their own Out of Office fantasies via sharable video and photo content.
