CHALLENGE

Indeed is the world’s #1 job site and leading job matching and hiring platform. FutureWorks, their premier experience for HR leaders, needed to match that, changing their perception from a jobs board to a hiring and matching platform. We needed to offer unique value adds to boost the ‘come-back-ability’ for future years with experiential elements, enhanced networking, and a cohesive and inclusive experience.

APPROACH

We aimed to create an environment where guests could feel a natural flow—a space where people are encouraged to be open, share, and connect. We needed to bring Indeed’s core content and products to life in BIG experiential ways while keeping accessibility in mind.

SOLUTION

The Mainstage was thoughtfully designed for big on stage moments, from a line dancing opening to hosted talks by Indeed’s CEO Chris Hyams with fresh announcements on new technology, as well as celebrity discussions with Trevor Noah. The stage was designed with accessibility at its core with a live sign language interpreter, real-time captioning and translation. 

To fully engage online viewers, we built a custom broadcast studio that kept virtual viewers entertained with a live stream plus exclusive speaker interviews, with almost 20,000 agenda items added online.

We transformed the event space into an experiential wonderland full of activations, big scenic installations, and areas for discussion and learning. Highlights included a walk-through installation showcasing the story of Work WellBeing, using Indeed’s data in an eye-catching scenic design. Plus, an Aromatherapy Bar for wellness at work, a Glassdoor-branded lounge offering a refreshing escape to promote work-life balance, and lively Product Demos, featuring six custom animated videos.
