Showcased the new Out Of Office features and Yahoo! Mail’s extended capabilities in two locations: New York and Taipei, creating a memorable branded activation.
FIRST developed the campaign strategy to serve two very diverse geographic and cultural audiences with a consistent feel for the Yahoo! Mail brand, but also to customize and feel relevant to two different holidays in two different parts of the world. The brand activations were meant to give consumers a chance to live and share their own Out of Office fantasies.
Guests could ride a flying carpet through the pyramids, swim with dolphins in space, or swing with pink flamingos across skyscrapers in NYC. As part of the marketing strategy, social influencers and brand ambassadors were onsite in order to create buzz and create their own content.
