Location: Onsite in Jersey City office (In-Person) $20-$25 hours weekly.
What You Would Get To Do:
The Event Technology Intern will provide administrative and operational support to a team of Event Technology Managers, helping ensure the smooth planning and execution of events. The intern will assist with database management, including maintaining accurate records, generating lists, and supporting event analytics and reporting. Responsibilities also include cross-checking event materials, managing inbox inquiries, uploading content to event platforms, and maintaining internal resources such as training hubs and documentation.
Your Contributions
- Provide administrative support to a team of Event Technology Managers
- Support the team with database management to ensure consistency in information, accuracy of new and existing data, and list generation
- List manipulation to provide team members with relevant registration data, year on year statistics, and insight into varied elements and event analytics
- Assist with information/data cross-checks for event materials and collateral
- Monitor email inboxes and respond to inquiries
- Uploading photos/bios to event app
- Assist with the upkeep and updating of the internal training hub
- Update and distribute internal documents
- Keep electronic event files and reports organized and up to date
- Coordination of name badges, tent cards, place cards, departure notices, email confirmations, agenda, signage etc. where appropriate
- Participate in and provide on-site registration support at events, as needed
- Flag inefficiencies and present solutions
- Strict and accurate adherence to company’s time tracking policies and systems
- Time management and prioritization skills to ensure efficient functioning of schedules and office systems
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Maintain the company’s standard operating procedures
- Act as an ambassador for the FIRST brand, leading by example and displaying the company’s core values (Ambition, Creativity, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork)
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in an administrative function a plus, but not required
- Prior event technology experience a plus, but not required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent project management skills, including attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritization of tasks, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Team player, able to take direction and run with it
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ambitious and proactive
- Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines
- Proactive work style with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong adaptability to situations and ever-changing demands
- A calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress

United States Residents: The base pay for this position ranges from $20 to $25 per hour.
Please note that the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across various U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
