What You Would Get To Do
This role will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy and delivery operations for global on-campus event services programs for a portfolio of global Fortune 500 clients. This role oversees the team that is responsible for all aspects of venue event operations, financial performance, client and guest experience, staffing, compliance, and strategic growth to deliver world-class event services across all designated on-campus client accounts. This high-visibility, client and executive leadership facing role requires exceptional leadership, deep operational expertise, superior client relationship management, and demonstrated success managing a large-scale global service business. This role will report to the Head of Global Operations and will be a member of senior management.
Your Contributions
- Lead and operate fully integrated on campus event service programs, ensuring alignment with client and company objectives
- Responsible for driving financial performance, profitability, and growth
- Support development of comprehensive business plans for market penetration and account management for existing and new clients
- Serve as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor for clients and internal stakeholders, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships and delivering creative and effective solutions
- Develop and present executive-level reporting on program performance, KPIs, financial results, and strategic initiatives to internal stakeholders, executive leadership and clients
- Actively participate in external and internal opportunities and thought leadership activities to increase program visibility and success, maintain key networks and stay current on leading practices
- Responsible for early identification, root cause analysis, and effective mitigation of business risks
- Accountable for delivering successful operating performance results that meet or exceed plan
- Establish and maintain operational best practices, performance standards, clear expectations, quality assurance procedures, escalation and resolution processes, training and development resources, engagement methods and
- cadence (for teams and clients), metrics and reporting, and access to client feedback to ensure consistent delivery of operational and service excellence
- Identify new opportunities for operational efficiency, innovation, and service enhancement. Champion new ways of working and use of AI.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, innovation and effectively lead change and transformation at scale
- Leverage data, analysis and insights to drive data based decision making and future forward business modeling
- Champion FIRST’s values and contribute to a culture of belonging, transparency, and collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing, large, global, diverse team of event service professionals
- Accountable for staffing models, resource allocation, and effective organizational modeling to achieve commercial targets and KPIs across all accounts
- In collaboration with P&C develop and implement strategies that enhance the talent lifecycle experience and retention of high performers across all teams

- 15+ years of progressive experience in client leadership, business strategy, consulting, or marketing, with at least 10 years in a senior client services role within an agency or corporate environment
- Extensive executive-level experience with significant financial responsibility
- Demonstrated success managing complex, global, large-scale service delivery programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing large, global teams across multiple market segments, clients and locations
- Navigating high change, matrix environments
- Proven expertise in venue based event service operations
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level clients and internal stakeholder
- Critical thinking and strategic planning

Salary expectations: $239,000 - $275,000
