What You Would Get To Do
FIRST is looking for a London-based 3D Designer to join our team. You will work closely with our Senior 3D Designer and Creative Studio Director. You will be working alongside Producers, Technical Directors, Designers and the Event & Experience team. We work globally, and there will be requirements to work across regions. Our solutions come in many forms but can be grouped into the following categories:
- Conferences, meetings, exhibitions & awards events
- Experiential events & launches
- Team motivational activities & hospitality
- Digital & multimedia campaigns
Your Contributions
- Supporting and owning a variety of 3D, Scenic and Production Design Projects
- Work closely with the Creative Studio Director and/or Senior Designer to understand project requirements and contribute to the creative process
- Collaborate on brainstorming sessions and provide input on design concepts
- Ability to creatively conceive original and compelling scenic designs
- Developing unique designs from start to finish
- Must be able to design main stage presentation spaces from the ground up
- Creating floorplan, technical drawings, 3D models and shop drawing,s ensuring that they meet the project specifications and brand guidelines are adhered to
- Maintain organised files and documentation for all design projects
- Support the 3D team by picking up existing projects and owning all 3D elements
- Work collaboratively with areas of the business, including both creative and technical production teams
- Bring your own skills, creativity and value to our evolving team
- Ability to communicate design intent clearly
- Contribute to internal work and award-winning case studies
- Bring enthusiasm, inspiration and fresh ideas to the team, and flexibility and adaptability while working with global teams across multiple time zones
- Travel onsite for events when required (10%)
What We Are Looking For

- 2-5+ years of overall 3D design experience, preferably at a leading experiential agency
- Advanced knowledge in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Advanced knowledge in stage and environmental design
- Event and scenic/design build drafting (floor plans and explainer drafting)
- Experience in D5 or Endscape preferred but not required
- Experience in scenic rental and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of architecture and/or interior design
- Knowledge of Vectorworks, Rhino, Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine preferred
- Knowledge of event décor and furniture rental vendors
