Your Contributions
Client Management & Strategy
- Act as a team strategist and point of contact for accounts including management of relationships with key senior level clients
- Create an account planning approach and develop a pipeline of growth opportunities across the client’s business
- Qualify all new business opportunities and pull in the needed expertise and capability from across FIRST as well as externally to deliver on commitments to clients
- Identify new and alternative ways of approaching FIRST’s service offering to clients by collecting feedback, identifying trends and implementing changes
- Develop a strategy for growth and ensure FIRST is seen to be ahead of the client, always providing guidance and direction rather than being re-active
- Monitor client contracts, Service Level Agreements and KPI’s
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reviews
- Manage and execute client requests for Compliance and Account related matters
- Proactively look for ways to streamline processes, identify best practices and new solutions
- Create RFP responses to ensure the success in obtaining new business with clients
Account Team Oversight
- Ensure the team is providing value for money to clients and seeking value added service where possible
- Liaise between client and FIRST Team Leads/Managers on issues affecting teams, as needed
- Engage as a member of the leadership team by providing input/feedback on big picture opportunities, issues, and challenges within the organization
- Manage process requests and projects to/from FIRST Agency
- Monitor and ensure team achieves SLAs and KPIs on the account
Commercial & Analytical
- Ensure account profitability
- Work with commercials and data & insights to provide account analytics
- Accountable for account budget management and working with commercials to update/communicate budget revisions
- Drive and ensure the team is providing value-adds to deepen service to our clients
- Analyze historical information and trends to provide insights for current fiscal status
- Assume full responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of all financial records and present critical financial concerns to management
Additional requirements
- Act as the primary escalation point for client issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Partner with Operations, P&C, Legal and Risk on identifying and engaging with regional partners/EOR.
- Serve as the point of contact for the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) on operational matters.
- Support the SDM and People & Culture (P&C) team with people-related issues and employee matters.
- Provide day-to-day operational guidance and oversight to ensure smooth running of client accounts.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Data teams to ensure accurate time tracking and high team utilization.
- Drive consistency in processes, best practices, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new team members.
- Support the transition of new clients from implementation to business-as-usual (BAU).
- Consult with the Operations team to assess and define team structure needs.
- Support in talent acquisition by participating in interviews and assessing candidate fit.
- Partner with Operations and L&D to identify and address training needs.
- Foster team engagement with the wider FIRST organization to promote collaboration and culture.
- Work with Operations to build a scalable talent pipeline and ensure teams are resourced for peak periods and specialized expertise.
- Ensure appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are engaged and leveraged when necessary.
- Oversee Salesforce maintenance and ensure data integrity to support service delivery and reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing in coordination with finance and operations teams.
- Technical Skills & Desired knowledge, skills, attributes :
- Advanced experience of events, conferences, meeting and production management including technology, AV & broadcast
- Extensive experience in working with and managing senior clients
- Proven ability to build a foundation for projects and initiatives – a “doer” mentality as opposed to a delegator
- Ability to effectively communicate with impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership experience; both leading and motivating colleagues in a manner that enhances working relationships and encapsulates the company brand and values
- Resourceful and highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently, think analytically and remain calm under pressure to meet established deadlines
- Team player; work in tandem with other divisions in expanding the business and adhering to standard operating procedures and efficiencies
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking and follow-through skills
- Ability to professionally engage with management at all levels
- Ambitious, proactive and resourceful with a calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress
