What You Would Get To Do:
In this capacity, the ideal candidate would represent the FIRST brand embedded within a Solutions account for a Financial Services company. FIRST Solutions is the proprietary strategic meetings management model offered by FIRST, which embeds specialist talent into organizations to provide Content, Creative, Digital Technology, Management & Delivery, and Data & Insights. The Project Manager will consistently deliver exceptional service to our high-touch clients in the Financial Industry through excellent project management and creative solutions. This role will work as an extension of the client’s marketing team to support client event engagement. This role will support initiatives, interfacing with key leaders across the business, advisors and advisor teams, marketing team members, agencies and vendors to deliver the very best experiences for their clients and prospects.
Your Contributions
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person events for corporate contacts and high net worth individuals aimed at fostering client relationships and acquiring new clients. Develop and implement event strategies designed to attract prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of the client.
- Track event success and analyze the effectiveness of different event formats in generating leads. This includes venue selection all the way to on-site logistics, ensuring seamless event experiences. Assist with creating and updating a central forward calendar of events in the segment, cross-divisional, and external.
- Assist in the development and curation of engaging event content, including speaker selection, presentation materials, and interactive event activations, tailored to the interests and needs of high-net-worth individuals. Conduct research on relevant market trends to inform event programming.
- Utilize CRM tools to track/manage event registration, track attendee data, and generate reports to share key metrics to senior stakeholders. Demonstrate a strong understanding of CRM functionalities to optimize event-related workflows and data analysis.
- Manage multiple event projects simultaneously, including creating meeting agendas, taking and circulating post-event takeaway notes, creating and tracking work-back timelines, all adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Work closely with Advisors, content specialist teams, and compliance officers to ensure events align with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate event details to Advisors, Relationship Managers, Business Developers, clients, leadership, external event planning partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and other relevant teams to ensure events are executed flawlessly and in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure all event activities are compliant with relevant regulations and client policies, including marketing guidelines and client communication protocols. Maintain thorough documentation of compliance approvals.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, analyze key metrics (e.g., attendance, satisfaction, commercial wins), and identify areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports and powerpoint decks summarizing event results and recommendations for future events, including post event write-ups.
- Travel (when applicable, approximately10% annually) for site inspections and on-site management of live events to ensure full coordination of logistics
- Act as an ambassador for the FIRST brand, leading by example and displaying the company’s core values (Ambition, Creativity, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork)

- 5 – 7 years’ event coordination experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment
- Experience in events, conferences, meeting and production management, including but not limited to C-level executive events, cocktail receptions and dinners, meetings and multi-day events
- Experience in working with and managing senior clients
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint; Salesforce experience a plus
- Project Management experience, preferably in the financial services industry or a corporate environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ownership of projects
- Highly organized with the ability to work in a high-pressured environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
- Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant and interesting arts and cultural events, a plus

United States Residents: The base pay for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
