What You Would Get To Do:
FIRST is seeking Events and Experiences Interns to support our E&E delivery team on a 20-25 hour a week basis from January to May 2025. As the tasks vary based on projects, deliverables and deadlines, so will the responsibilities of this position. The ideal candidates are passionate and hardworking people with a positive attitude, highly social, excited about learning.
Your contributions
- Learn about the entire event planning and production processes and how they’re implemented.
- Help prepare event documents including event decks, event timelines, hotel sheets, branding trackers, production schedules
- Join client calls where possible and assist the event team by taking notes
- Coordinate event details with vendors (such as florists, furniture, swag/gifting partners, AV vendors) and shadow production team members onsite as needed.
- Help maintain vendor databases in sharepoint and salesforce.
- Participate in brainstorms and planning meetings for upcoming projects and proposals as needed
- Prioritize, manage, and deliver responsibilities as assigned by Project Lead to support event logistics which may include, but are not limited to:
- Sourcing venues, vendors, and onsite experiences, and management of suppliers for all aspects of events.
- Creation and maintenance of internal and client-facing project documentation.
- Tracking vendor costs and quotes to assist with budgeting and reconciliation of all event related expenses.
- Reviewing event related orders and schedules for accuracy.
- Coordinating internal and external meetings, client calls, and site visits.
- Assisting in development of design elements, including but not limited to branding and signage, decor, and furniture rentals.
- Collating materials and shipping event boxes/onsite kits
- Coordinate with other departments such as event technology and creative team to ensure alignment on client expectations and event details.
- Join Events and Experience team members on site visits and events where appropriate and client approves.
- Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required.

- Prior demonstrated success in an event/sales internship experience preferred
United States Residents: The base pay for this position is $20/hr for undergraduate $25/hr graduate students
