What You Would Get To Do:
The Resourcing Manager will support the development and execution of scalable resourcing strategies to meet global event delivery needs. This role works closely with project teams and internal stakeholders to maintain a reliable pool of freelancers and contractors. The Resourcing Manager will assist in building scalable workforce solutions that provide flexibility, cost-efficiency, and alignment with operational requirements.
Your Contributions:
- Support the implementation and ongoing refinement of scalable resourcing frameworks for a specific account or portfolio, ensuring alignment with client needs and delivery timelines.
- Identify and help manage external partners, including freelancers and contractors.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date roster of available resources within the assigned account, ensuring readiness and flexibility to meet shifting project demands.
- Collaborate with the delivery team across embedded solutions and events & experiences to align resource plans with evolving client and operational needs.
- Monitor labor rates and support budget considerations for resourcing decisions.
- Manage onboarding team members including full time, freelancers and contractors, ensuring compliance with company standards and processes.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for scalable resourcing.
- Utilize technology platforms to support efficient tracking, scheduling, and reporting of resource activity.
- Stay informed on industry trends and labor market shifts to provide relevant input into resourcing strategies.
- Partner with the Team Manager to understand the broader account strategy and provide insight into resourcing challenges, opportunities, and performance.
- Manage and develop a team of scalable resources assigned to the account, offering coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support.
- Oversee team workload and capacity, addressing scheduling conflicts, resource gaps, and pressure points in partnership with planning leads.
- Act as the main point of contact for resourcing-related queries within the account, facilitating solutions and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Manage direct reports logistics including time-off planning, expense approvals, and general administrative oversight.
- Ensure the resourcing team builds and maintains strong, productive relationships with client contacts, representing the agency professionally and responsively.
- Support succession planning and business continuity within the account’s resourcing function and across FIRST, identifying growth and development opportunities for team members.
What We Are Looking For:
- 8-10+ years of experience in event production, operations, vendor management, or resource coordination.
- Experience managing a team preferred.
- Familiarity with scalable workforce models and vendor partnerships.
- Understanding of global event operations and supplier networks.
- Budget-conscious approach to labor and resource management.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach to evolving business needs.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.

United States Residents: The base pay for this position ranges from $110,000 – $130,000 in the states of NY, NJ, CA, CT, MA, IL; the base pay for this position is $95,000 – $115,000 in all other US states.
