PRUDENTIAL’S INVESTOR CONFERENCE / PRUDENTIAL PLC
FIRST has worked with Prudential since 2014 delivering global conferences in the UK, USA, Singapore and Indonesia. The 2017 Investor Conference was staged in London at the InterContinental London Park Lane as a one day residential event for 175 delegates. The main purpose of the event for Prudential was to demonstrate how its strategy was well positioned, focusing on the long-term opportunities across their geographic markets and highlighting the disciplined capital allocation and market-leading capabilities that combine to continue its delivery of profitable growth. FIRST’s objective was to produce and deliver an immersive experience for the audience as part of a seamless end-to-end event to facilitate the presentations by Group and each of the Prudential businesses.
The conference was a great success for Prudential, meeting all of their objectives in delivering the event and provided the platform they needed to showcase the business as intended. This resulted in Prudential’s share price increasing by 1.1%, adding 30p to the share price, and the event has also been given recognition in the 2018 All-Europe Executive Team rankings compiled by the global finance magazine, Institutional Investor, with analysts and institutional investors ranking Prudential in first place in the insurance category for the second year in a row.
