The Role
We're seeking a dedicated People Advisor to champion our employees' growth and development in a supportive and inclusive work environment.
The People Advisor will provide an excellent level of advisory support to managers and teams through effective relationship building and their application of employment law experience and expertise. The role plays a key part in assisting and offering guidance on people related initiatives and supporting the overall strategies. The role has the ability to influence and provide direction on employment matters as a field expert.
(*Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract role which may lead to permanent employment. Hybrid 2 day in office policy per week)
What You Would Get To Do
- Manage cases of family friendly leave, flexible working requests, sickness absence, and contractual changes end-to-end and act as the first point of contact in relation to queries on these procedures.
- Managing and supporting the probation review process in partnership with managers
- Advising employees and managers regarding policies and procedures ensuring consistency of practice and compliance
- Providing support with the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans
- Provide advice and counsel to the business, including policy interpretation and employment practices of the assigned region, including, providing scenarios and risks attached
- Conduct confidential investigations of HR-related concerns and apply critical thinking to analyse evidence and investigative conclusions
- Support the P&C team with project work as required
- Collaborate with the global P&C team on streamlining the processes, ensuring consistency in HR practices
- Support teams across EMEA regions

Education and Qualifications
- Proven HR experience with strong knowledge of employment law, best practices and legislative requirement of region
- Preferred additional experience supporting teams in France, Germany and Ireland
- CIPD qualification and any coaching experience is preferred
- Experience of recruitment systems and HRIS preferred
- Experience with analysing and rewriting policies preferred
- Experience in designing and delivering HR training
