What You Would Get To Do
The Creative Strategist is an energetic, go-getter who thrives on dissecting client briefs, analyzing market and industry trends, and uncovering data-driven insights. They transform these insights into clear strategic directions and develop actionable briefs for cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across all phases of a program.
Working as part of a collaborative creative team with a passion for the events industry, the Creative Strategist contributes to the ideation and development of program-related initiatives and experiences. Reporting to a Senior Creative Strategist, this role plays a key part in promoting a strong strategic and creative foundation across the Agency, helping to foster a culture of innovation and integrated thinking.
Your Contributions
Lead & Support Project Proposals
- Structure, develop and write compelling pitch decks, proposals that clearly communicate strategic and creative ideas.
- Proof, edit, and evaluate pitch decks and proposals while analyzing client briefs and collaborating with Client Services and clients to define project objectives and develop effective reverse briefs.
- Research and interpret applicable trends, human behavior sciences, and other relevant data sources.
- Effectively and confidently present, discuss and evolve event concepts and creative elements with Clients.
- Lead and participate in brainstorms, and utilize inventive, out-of-the-box thinking to get to ideas.
Content & Communication
- Effectively shape event messaging and creative ideas that ladder into client’s brand strategy.
- Provide ongoing communication and content needs throughout the project lifecycle including, themes, video treatment concepts, script writing and event content oversight.
- Oversee the creative through line of an event from initial development through onsite execution including but not limited to interactive/experiential technology, scenic/set design, décor design, presentation development, video design & development, branding and graphic design.
Consultative & Strategic Account Support
- Support in the healthy maintenance of client relationships, and further identify growth opportunities.
- Successfully sell concepts to clients and problem solve with expectations, budget constraints, opportunities, challenges and escalate where necessary.
- Plan and execute client interviews and workshops to help uncover and develop deeper understanding of account needs.
- Support for Client Services team on development and delivery of key account Quarterly Business Reviews and other insight-driven presentations.
Business Strategy & Growth
- Support with research and compile industry and market trends and insights in conjunction with Marketing.
- Track trends and attend industry events to build and expand FIRST’s role as a strategic leader in our industry.
- Participate and lead (depending on complexity) workshops and sessions cross-functionally.
