Mastercard partnered with FIRST for the eighth year to strategize, design and produce its largest meeting of global sales executives
Mastercard partnered with FIRST New York and FIRST London for its annual Sales Leadership Meeting in Barcelona. This three-day meeting gathered almost 450 of Mastercard’s top sales leaders to have an open dialogue about their business and to galvanize the team for the year ahead. How was this accomplished? By challenging them to be BOLD. This highly visual theme nodded to the 1992 Barcelona Olympic games, and was threaded throughout the program with custom video and graphics work. The opening night kick-off featured a disruptive “flash mob” made up of Mastercard's top sales performers, and the ballroom used for General Session included a custom screen, powerful video content and a keynote from tennis champ Martina Navratilova. Outside the meeting, FIRST delivered a Priceless team-building experience at the Olympic Stadium, complete with a custom iPad app, and 13 Olympic sports experiences, all fostering competition and networking. The program was capped with
an awards dinner held at Mas Cabanyes, featuring specially choreographed live entertainment and custom-designed décor.
