FIRST was selected by Fresenius Medical Care North America to be the strategic partner and overall producer for the Clinical Managers’ Conference. The program spanned four days for 3,600 people throughout Indianapolis, Indiana.
FIRST served as overall producer of the Clinical Managers’ Conference providing end-to-end services to Fresenius Medical Care North America. We had full oversight and responsibility for content and session development including speaker sourcing and coaching, room and set design, original video and motion graphics creation, and exhibit hall management. In addition, we managed full event logistics including room blocks at 15 hotels, custom registration and mobile app, personalized lead generation for 57 exhibits, transportation, entertainment sourcing and management, and 11 individually-designed offsite parties. Maintaining a superior sense of hospitality was a key goal for FIRST, caring that each attendee felt welcome, greeted, and accommodated from the moment of arrival to the survey sent out at the end of program.
An event highlight was the “All Together Better: Team Challenge,” in which 3,200 participants were brought together to build bicycles for members of the Indiana Boys and Girls Clubs on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium. At the end of the build, the bikes were presented to more than 300 children right there at the stadium, with members of the Indianapolis Colts and the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders raving alongside! When attendees went home to change, FIRST turned the stadium into a full-scale dinner which turned into a rock concert with a Grammy Award-winning artist.
The conference tagline: “Leading – Caring – Engaging – Winning” became the rally cry for the FIRST team, who worked closely with Visit Indy to be sure the local geography and vendors were represented.
