To kick start Advertising Week, AOL and Verizon hosted their first large event as one company: The AOL Future Front.
FIRST partnered with AOL to design and produce a series of experiences that engaged, impressed, and literally immersed the guests in its key messaging: that mobile has changed how content is consumed and produced. The event brought together 1,300 attendees, consisting of advertisers and media buyers under the theme "Mobilizing the Future." Highlights of the evening included a theatrical immersion tunnel with overhead and side LED walls which rolled 60-second video including bold audio and beautiful imagery, a 3-story DJ Tower that housed 5 DJs representing different genres of music, and performances by Alabama Shakes and Snoop Dogg.
