FIRST has been featured in The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, a ranking of Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales. The list was produced for the 10th time this year by Fast Track.
FIRST ranked no.122 on the 2019 list after having ranked no.149 in 2017, an indicator of our continued growth and performance, and our focus on building and maintaining trust.
Amanda Murphy, Head of Commercial Banking, HSBC UK, commented, “All of the businesses [The Sunday Times International Track 200] showcases have truly inspiring stories to tell about creativity, resilience and ambition to succeed. They are the kinds of enterprises we are thrilled to support and that provide the backbone of our economy, today and tomorrow.”
Despite the backdrop of ongoing Brexit-related uncertainty, the average sales growth over the last two years for the International Track 200 companies was 69% a year, to a total of £14.1bn on combined total sales of £30.9bn, demonstrating the continued resilience and strength of British companies trading overseas.
Additionally, FIRST is proud to be one of the 34 companies on this year’s list that either has a woman as chief executive, managing director, or chairperson or was founded or co-founded by a woman.
The full ranking was published as an eight-page supplement in The Sunday Times and is also available online here.
