Key Hire will Oversee Support of Client Accounts, Delivery Standardization, Growth, Strategy and Quality of Events for FIRST in the Americas
FIRST, a leading global events agency operating out of New York, Los Angeles, London, Dublin, Singapore and Hong Kong, announced today that Jeff Welger has been named Head of Client Services.
Mr. Welger brings to his new role 20 years of experience in the events industry, and will oversee the growing FIRST Client Services team in the Americas, providing leadership and ensuring high quality delivery to the full roster of FIRST clients. He will report to Barry Richards, Chief Client Officer, and will be based out of the FIRST offices in New York City.

Mr. Welger has experience running global teams, having overseen groups in New York and London while Vice President, Creative Services, Meetings & Exhibits, Digital Media, and Editorial Services at Parexel International. In addition to serving as the Executive Director of World Health Communications/New World Health, he served as Vice President, Event Marketing for Lehman Brothers. Over the course of his career, Mr. Welger has gained experience across the finance, technology, and healthcare sectors.
