The first annual The Special Event Asia is kicking off on November 18 in Singapore and Managing Director of APAC at FIRST, Tamsyn Barker, will be speaking on a panel about experiential and brand activations. Taking place at Resorts Sentosa Convention Centre in Singapore from 3:45pm, the session titled ‘Return on Experience: Measuring Brand Activations’ will explore how brand activations are measured and the importance of data and analytics to evaluate the success of events and experiences.

 

Events and experiences work powerfully hand-in-hand. With the ever-present rise of experiential marketing and a growing consumer propensity to spend on experiences, the panel discussion will delve into brand events, how experiences are quantified and the returns.

 

The Special Event Asia is Asia’s only conference to celebrate the events industry and aims to connect, innovate and inspire. Over two days, the event will attract and connect over 1,500 event professionals on experiences, interactive and immersive engagement within the region, and globally.

Tamsyn is responsible for leading our team in APAC, and driving our global business forward. She has the right combination of creative and management talents, and has built her reputation over the past 20 years in both leadership and creative roles in experiential marketing, events, and brand communication. Tamsyn has experience delivering successful events of all scales throughout Australia, Asia Pacific, China, the Middle East, the United States and the United Kingdom. Immediately prior to FIRST, she served as the Executive Creative Director for Freeman. When not in the office, Tamsyn enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband.
